Metallic Systems – Liquid Art
Our metallic coating systems called Liquid Art, provide a flowing, 3-D marbled look with iridescent accents and are suited for areas where a real visual impact is desired. To obtain the marbled look, applicators use one of several methods to disperse the metallic pigments which are incorporated in the metallic coat. The possible effects are only limited by the installer’s imagination, so no two floors ever look alike. Metallic flooring consists of a generous epoxy primer coat (we never apply polyurea or polyaspartic direct-to-concrete), followed by a metallic color coat and topped with a clear topcoat. These systems are not recommended for garages or high-traffic areas, so kitchens, basements, hallways and family rooms are common spaces for the installation of these systems.
